It looks like our “shake-down cruise” will begin next week, and I’ll begin blogging. MA is for Mary, JI for Jim, and C for Cliff—“MAJIC”. She is a Richardson wooden Cabin Cruiser, built in 1957. Jack found her in Wooden Boat magazine and Cayuga Wooden Boatworks have renovated her beautifully. Now she is in the water for the first time in 5 years and ready to take on the 25 canal locks before reaching the Hudson. And then on to the Vineyard!
